This is one of our latest cameras in, we wanted to add a small flexible camera to our range, but still with a high resolution.  We asked for these cameras to be made with the PC4089 image sensor - the same sensor we use in our brake light cameras, we spent extra to spec the cameras out with 4 glass lenses, instead of the standard 2 glass/2 plastic that you would usually see on these type of cameras (we chose all glass lenses because the plastic lenses go cloudy over time, because of UV exposure from the sun).  The PC4089 image sensor is one of the modern latest generation of CMOS (not to be confused with the cheap and cheerful CMOS of the past).  As the price is lower than CCD, we have passed these savings on to you.
